We apreciate your business and because we want to make sure you have the most pleasant experience when visiting us, there are a few guidelines we would like you to review.
Chemical Peels
Peels are great for all skin types even for the most sensitive skin with rosasea , imflammed acne or broken capillaries. If you are looking for a light peel to give your skin instant glow, softness and smoothness, we have a couple of peels that will achieve that. If you have a skin condition you will like to target like acne, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone or wrinkles then there are stronger peels that will help you see results.
- Not all peels are the same, and you might not always peel after a treatment; this is quite normal.
- You might experience dryness and flakiness for up to 14 days after your peel; this is normal. The benefits of the peel may not be visible until 10-14 days after the peel.
- If you experience flakiness, it is very important you do not pick your skin as this might cause scarring.
- If you would like to expedite the healing process, you may use an enzyme exfoliating mask three day after your peel as enzymes digest dead cells. Enzyme masks are available for purchase with us for $32 or you may get one at your local drugstore.
- Because a chemical peel is an intese exfoliating treatment, your skin will be more sensitive to sun light; therefore, it is important you wear SPF 15 or higher for the next 14 days after the peel to avoid hyperpigmentation.
- If you are currently using Retin-A, any retinols or Alpha Hydroxy Acids, you must discontinue using them at leat 48 hrs before your treatment.
- You must avoid sun tanning or tanning beds for at least 7 days after your treatment.
- You should avoid waxing 5 day prior and 5 days after your treatment.
- You must avoid using any type of scrub, microdermabrasion or any harsh products at least 10-14 after your treatment.
- If you have recently gotten botox, Restylane, Juvederm or any other type of filler, you must consult your physician prior to your treatment.
- If you are targeting a skin condition, you may need more than one treatment to achieve optimal results.
